At Spark Speech Pathology, our team of Speech Pathologists offer support in the areas of speech, language, literacy and social skills. We believe that each of our clients already has their own unique spark. Our goal is to keep that spark glowing and provide the necessary fuel to keep it burning bright. Communicating effectively involves creating meaningful connections with others. At Spark, we believe it's all about enlightening others and igniting connections:
Igniting connections between our therapists and their clients and personalising their therapy programs to keep them engaged and motivated. We provide both individual and group therapy at our clinics in Caulfield South, at local schools and Childcare Centres or at your home. We also offer Telehealth sessions.
Igniting connections between our clients and their peers or colleagues. At Spark, we have a special interest in the area of social skills. We believe social skills are essential throughout our lifespan in order to make strong connections with others and maintain self-esteem. We work with children of all ages (including pre-school), adolescents and adults to assist with conversational skills, working and playing co-operatively, friendships and reading social situations.
Igniting connections in our clients’ brains to assist them to learn skills and enable them to move forward toward their goals. We are strong advocates of developing a growth mindset and having the courage to attempt tasks that may at first seem difficult or a little scary, which results in stronger neural connections.
Igniting connections with parents and assisting them to best support their child and appreciate their child’s successes. We respect the fact that parents know their child better than anyone else and we work together to share our expertise with theirs.
Igniting connections with other professionals who are involved with our clients (e.g. Teachers, Psychologists, Paediatricians). This ensures that the clients are viewed holistically and that skills learned can be transferred into other settings. We also believe in setting goals that are functional and meaningful across different contexts.
Tanya Goldin Counselling
I am deeply passionate about working with grief and loss. I understand each person’s grief journey is unique. There is no “one size fits all”. Allowing me to walk your journey to find healing is a privilege.
I can also provide counselling for many mental health-based issues caused by stress, bullying and relationship issues.
My life experience combined with learned knowledge allows me to offer compassion, empathy, and helpful coping tools.
My approach is integrative. This means I use a variety of theories and therapies to find strategies and tools that suit your needs. This is combined with a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space to be vulnerable and feel supported.
I am qualified with a Bachelor of Counselling and registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).
I have spent time volunteering as a grief counsellor, Newly Bereaved support group facilitator and supervisor at “The Compassionate Friends Victoria” for many years.
Currently, I am involved in a Grief Educator training with David Kessler.
I am deeply empathetic and interested in your story and want to help you live your life true to yourself.
